2) The channel between the plates of the plate heat exchanger is very narrow, generally 3-5mm, when the heat exchange medium contains large solid particles or fiber material, it is easy to block the channel between the plates. The copper pipe diameter of the tubular oil cooler is large, and small particles are not easy to cause blockage. In view of this problem, our factory installs a filter screen before the inlet of the cooling water of the plate heat exchanger, and regularly drains the water, which is effectively controlled.
3) At the same time of heat exchange, the tube type oil cooler is heavier than the plate heat exchanger, about 5 times that of the plate. After the plate heat exchanger is replaced, the load force of 3.5m platform in the machine room is greatly reduced.
4. Comparison of cooling water.
The cooling water of the tube type oil cooler is 480t/h, the cooling water of the plate heat exchanger is 245t/h (unit), the cooling water of the plate heat exchanger is 1/2 of the tube type, and the cooling water consumption is greatly reduced. In turn, it reduces the installation cost of pipes and valves.
5. Comparison of maintenance costs.

Plate oil cooling equipment has the advantages of safe and reliable use, small cooling water, high heat transfer efficiency, small footprint, easy maintenance, but the maintenance cost is high; The tubular oil cooler has some disadvantages such as large load, poor heat transfer efficiency and large area, but the maintenance cost is low.
