Differences
1. The temperature range is -196℃----+225℃, the design pressure is 3.0MPa, and the test pressure can reach 4.5MPa.
2. Selection selection: detachable plate heat exchanger more selection options, the maximum flow of up to 2100m³/h, brazed plate heat exchanger, the maximum flow of only 150m³/h, so each other are suitable for the working conditions, brazed plate heat exchanger volume will be smaller.
3. Material selection: brazed sheet only 304, 316L material, removable plate heat exchanger, plate in addition to stainless steel, there are titanium plates, 254SMO, Hazelloy and so on, the thickness is generally 0.5-0.8mm.
4. Disassembly and washing: the heat exchanger can be removed, slight scaling can be backwashed by dilute sulfuric acid or dilute oxalic acid, and serious scaling can be disassembled and cleaned. Brush the scaling off the plate, and then reassemble the plate after cleaning, which can be reused, greatly saving the use cost and extending the service life; The brazed

5. Maintenance: due to the damage of the plate or rubber pad caused by the working condition, the plate heat exchanger can be replaced with parts, but the brazing plate heat exchanger plate damage, can only be replaced by the whole machine can not be repaired.
In general, brazed plate heat exchanger is more suitable for: small footprint, space restrictions, high temperature and high pressure, small flow conditions, but the replacement cost will be higher than the detachable plate heat exchanger, removable plate heat exchanger installation and maintenance is simple, making the initial investment and operation and maintenance costs greatly reduced, more selection, suitable for more conditions.
