A brazed plate heat exchanger (BPHE) is a type of compact heat exchanger that consists of a series of thin, corrugated plates that are brazed together. The plate heat exchanger plates are typically made of stainless steel and have alternating channels for the hot and cold fluids to flow through. Brazed plate heat exchanger is commonly used in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and industrial applications where efficient heat transfer is required. The corrugated form of heat transfer plate has great influence on heat transfer efficiency and flow resistance. In order to meet the needs of different heat transfer conditions, people have developed many kinds of corrugated heat transfer plates. Among them, herringbone corrugated plate and horizontal corrugated plate are the most widely used. The cross-section shape of the chevron corrugated plate is often triangular, and the Angle between the chevron is usually.
